Our Leaders
Pastor Greg Deskins ministers to us from the Word of God with fresh insight into the Gospel of Grace. Prior to becoming pastor at CFC in 2007, he served for several years as a music minister and associate pastor. He and his wife Monica both share a passion for strengthening marriages and families in the Body of Christ. We are all excited about this new season of growth at CFC under the leadership of Greg and Monica.
Pastor Greg opens up God's Word to us with a blend of solid doctrine and practical insight, and with a touch of humor. Through his ministry, we are all being changed by the revelation of God's unconditional love and grace toward us. Everything we receive from God flows freely out of His goodness.
One of Greg's passions is science and the harmony of God's two revelations, that is, the Bible and nature. Greg's messages mention scientific discoveries about the incredible level of fine-tuning that is necessary in the universe so that mankind could have a suitable home on earth for this tiny slice of cosmic history. God's love and purpose for man are clearly evident in the care and effort He expended in His creation.
Among Greg's favorite international ministries are Joseph Prince (Singapore), Andrew Wommack (Colorado Springs, Colorado), Arthur Meintjes (South Africa), and Hugh Ross ("Reasons to Believe," Pasadena, California).
At CFC, other sincere and dedicated leaders oversee the youth ministries, the children's church, and the nursery. We are very thankful for the leaders at CFC. They are a true blessing to us as they walk before us in grace and wisdom.
